| Description | You wake up. It's dark and noisy, the sound of gravel crunching under tyres. And there's Timmy fast asleep, huddled in a ball, in the corner across from you. 'Won't be long now.", yells Gustav from the side seat. Kitty's driving. You stand up and your head hits the roof. 'Watch yourself there!", Gustav chuckles as he follows a trail with his finger on a map. "Turn left... now." Kitty swerves the van into a small farmyard. Most of the crops are dead. You look out the window, between Gustav and Kitty. There's a large building up ahead, looks like it might've been an energy reactor or something once. But it's windows are smashed in, and there's graffiti all over it. "That's where we're going," Gustav stated. A moments silence; "Would you mind waking up Timmy?". You turn back to Timmy, and kneel down. "Timmy," you say in a childish voice, "Wakey wakey!" His eyes slowly open, their red and sore. "We're here." |
