Is when a person intentionally rates a map lower than what it is clearly worth, whether with one account, or multiple accounts with the purpose of lowering its rating, oftentimes to lower a user's overall average rating.

A 1.5 is within the realm of reason for this.

I'd just like to point out...

...that 1.5 isn't a snipe. If you're being sniped, then somebody is running through ALL your maps and rating them zero.

I was the one who rated this map a 1.5 It isn't incredibly special, and it doesn't really reflect a lot of effort on your part. I'd like to see you improve it and make it into a map, which I would be happy to critique for you.

Uh, no. I'm not a sinper.

I'm a benevolent lurker who gets royally ticked off when an attention whore tries to get people to notice him by whining about ratings.

They don't reflect how good a mapmaker you are. It's not like an essentially arbitrary number someone gives your work makes your map any less fun to play. It's ridiculously annoying and pointless to irritate everyone like this.

Also, it's annoying that you fly off the handle the minute someone begins to criticize you. People who don't like your behavior are not necessarily snipers.
