Exactly.

.
N is an action game to me (aside from puzzles, jumpers, etc). Nonetheless, this map isn't bad. It's still somewhat boring, but it also has some challenge to it, so I'll go with 3/5.

@Erik-Player: Perhaps part of the reason you made the ChaoStar comment is because ChaoStar makes short little maps and you make bigger maps?

@GTM: Erik-Player actually does have a point. If you have trouble somewhere in a map, try to overcome it. Change your approach and/or pay more attention to your maneuvering. If you figure out a way to do it consistently, then the "I died there my first 3 times" wouldn't matter so much. Not to say you don't have other reasons for giving this a 3 -- I'm just explaining.

AGD:

=D

It was like the last thing I changed.

I'm probably gonna try to keep this tileset style throughout the competition.

And one more thing:

The gold placement is awesome.
First of all, you followed the rules very well. This map does indeed have only mines and floorguards as enemies. This map also has a very relaxed and almost peaceful atmosphere. The tileset reminded me of a Metanet level, which made it even more enjoyable. Overall, nicely done. 4.

you won?

lucky i wasnt your judge.

Yeah.

Nice to know. ^_^

Also

Lol... My judge rated Templex's map as 36/40, and mine got 34/40 including the recent agd, so I guess this goes to show that perhaps a lot of the comp depends on the bias of the judges ^_^

I did like this map

I just thought the beginning ruined it for me personally, and seeing as the rating is my personal opinion, I fail to see it as being overtly critical.

Besides, who knows what chaostar is up to these days?

Also, dont be sorry, everyones entitled to an opinion ;)

Wow.

:P

Good job

nice sterdy win, i was seriously thinking I hadnt won, but then I had done an AGD which got me 3 extra points so :D

@GTM

You just have to get better to like it. People who didn't accidentally die in the beginning loved it. You always rate my maps so critical and then I see you rating a map by like choastar with a four. Oh well, it's just your opinion.

agd

shit demo. agree with palemoon. anyway i wish i had judged this one, i liked it.
Demo Data

Eh

Like the atmos, and I agree with PALEMOON, but tbh the floorguards at the beginning were kinda trickier than they looked, and after dying 3 times in one spot it sorta lost its sparkle. However, the middle sections seemed a lot better, although overall I wouldnt say the placement is spectacular. Three if Im being honest, but a high three imo.

AGD

Fastest so far.
Demo Data

Cool.

That was my goal PALEMOON. :)
and i liked the complex locked door layout, but you made it seem very laid-back and exploratory the whole way through.

( i am trying to legitimately review all of the NNRPG maps submitted :D )
