the demo would be a good idea. Because at someparts... The map get really confusing. especially the pressing the key.

my summary... Not a sissy's N-map. No sire... The flow was kinda difficult to find, but... I've always been a bit too partial to flow... Also don't feel bad, I've gotten about two zero ratings in my time... Those maps have been delisted... But... I feel that the map on the whole is worth about 2.5-3.5... Kind difficult to choose where in between so... I just go with the mean of those two numbers.

well, i assure you i had no intention of knocking it down, and i fully understand your hot maps page dilemma (i disable ratings completely, and consequently they can't stay up for long). i guess i hand out 1's and 2's slightly more often than most people, but that's only because i'm of the mind that when 2 is "below average" and 3 is "above average," then 2.5 should be the average rating. i guess people rate too highly and i just don't want to fall into that.
but yeah, i don't submit most maps i make either, but i do recommend that you, at least for a little while, submit a good portion of your maps to get feedback. that way, you can use all the feedback you've gotten to make better maps down the road (and obviously, the more maps you post (within reason) the more feedback you'll get).

Well...

Lets Look at what we have here...
The only reason I was upset is that, the lower the ranking is, the less time it stays on the hot map, and the less people see it. I don't really care about my ratings, more that people play my maps. Even if I did, all decent maps seem to average to a 4 or 3. I make them for my self, but they are kind of useless if they can not be enjoyed by others as well. That is why I continue to try and improve so more people enjoy my maps, and through their comments, I can make my maps more enjoyable through that. Oh and 1 is twice as bad as 2 :P. Lastly, about the >10 mpas thing. This is true, but not because I don't make them often, it's because I only post when I think my map is good. None of my maps are masterpieces, however I don't think any of them are truly terrible (except my first one).
to be honest, while some sections were done well, the clutter throughout the map was rather distracting; but what you can take from this is that you managed to make some positive elements of the map (including the thin tiles throughout most of the center, which i forgot to mention), and if i remember correctly, you haven't even made ten maps yet. that's a good sign :)

also, i'm glad to hear you've enjoyed several of my maps :D i try ^_^

Ouch 1, never gotten one of those. That's practically snipage. Ah well. I respect you're opinion, having enjoyed several of your maps. Although having multiple themes and using Z-snap (This was my actual first map I was tring to be a bit odd in, like floorguards in the tiles, and Z-Snap) shouldn't make this map a 1 IMO. Was there a particular element of this map that you didn't like or did you just not like it those qualities? Cause I thought the chaingun and droid sections were done very well?
diversity within the same map can create a choppy feel. for example, this map might actually have been better if the only enemies were zap drones and rockets.
on a seperate note, try not to z-snap gold, especially until you get the hang of creating patterns with x-snap and c-snap. there's just too much room for error.
i would give this a 1.5 if i could, but there is none, so i have to drop it to a 1. don't be discouraged by it though; just take the advice of people on here and i'm sure you'll do fine :)
