The concept is great
but the timer feels off and the map itself a little lifeless.

I would actually say that...
if you made this a drone timer map (so that you can get locked out of the exit area), this would be nifty. If you moved the ninja below the exit, it would work better.

To be honest,
I'd say more minimal than simple, but not by much due to it not utilizing its meaning. If you didn't place the exit switch there, I'd say minimal. I say this because you'd have to follow the route twice which adds more gameplay and, in my opinion, simple maps condone simple gameplay. The littlest details like the exit switch position can make a huge difference on the gameplzy.

i like simple maps like this. the chaingun added a cool pressure feel. i just think the mine section doesnt really fit well with the rest of the theme.
